This is an English single malt from Bimber in London, a single cask release additionally matured in a tawny port cask. It is Release No.8 in the Spirit of the Underground series and celebrates Marble Arch station, which opened in 1900 as part of the Central London Railway, now the Central line. One of 340 bottles, it is bottled at 56.9% ABV in 70cl.
The nose has bright raspberries with toffee, vanilla sponge cake, baking spices and rich oak. The palate is a vibrant red berry compote spiced with cinnamon, with smooth vanilla and sweet oak. Red berries and warm baking spices carry through the finish.
