Bisou Rouge is a red wine made entirely from Cinsault, produced by Domaine Montrose in Languedoc. The grapes are hand-harvested early in the season from high-altitude vineyards to preserve freshness, resulting in a wine with low alcohol, bright fruit and refreshing acidity. It has a clear ruby colour and a fine, lightly spicy aroma with notes of freshly picked raspberry, redcurrant and a hint of spicy herbs from the wild hills of southern France. The wine feels light on the tongue but still has enough structure for grilled chicken, pork and fish. Domaine Montrose has also considered serving temperature: when the label shows a blue mouth, the wine is at 12 degrees, its optimal temperature.
