Black Dog Gold Reserve is a blended Scotch whisky in a 75cl bottle. It goes through a triple maturation. Grain and malt whiskies are first matured separately in American bourbon casks, then blended together and matured again in Oloroso sherry butts for a longer period.
The brand says this gives the blend a distinctive flavour and a delicate finish.
