Black & White Blended Scotch Whisky (1L, 40%)

Black & White is a blended Scotch whisky bottled at 40% in a one-litre bottle, without chill-filtration or added colour. Its roots go back to 1884, when James Buchanan founded his own whisky company and created a blend deliberately milder than many of the day. It was first sold as House of Commons, but customers began asking for the whisky in the black bottle with the white label, and the name Black & White became the official brand. A black Scottish terrier and a white West Highland terrier appear with the brand. The nose is mild and floral. The palate shows malt sweetness, creamy caramel and light oak, and the finish is short to medium.
