Blackened Cask Strength Volume 01 (75cl, 61.4%)

Blackened Cask Strength Volume 01 is an American whiskey made in collaboration between the band Metallica and Sweet Amber Distilling Co. It is a blend of North American bourbon and rye whiskeys, finished in brandy casks and bottled unfiltered at 61.4% ABV in a 75cl bottle. The release is a limited edition. It uses what the makers call sonic enhancement, a process in which sound waves are applied to the whiskey. Black cherry, spice and maple sugar lead the flavour, with a touch of cinnamon in the finish.
