This is an 11 year old Blair Athol, a Highland single malt distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2026 at 54.7% in a 70cl bottle.
The spirit first matured in a refill hogshead, then was moved into a first fill ex-Amontillado barrique for over six years, which is over half its life. Blair Athol's nutty new make character is described as pairing well with sherry maturation, and the cask adds rich dried fruit and leather.
Tasting notes mention cassia bark (cinnamon), dark chocolate and glazed apple.
