Refill bourbon barrique
A 12 year old Blair Athol, distilled in 2013 and bottled by Blackadder for its 30th anniversary. It comes from a single refill bourbon barrique, which produced 261 bottles, and is bottled unfiltered, as Blackadder does with its whiskies. Blackadder is a family-owned independent bottler established in 1995. The nose is warm, spicy and deep, with dried apricots, raisins, honey, nutty malt and toasted oak. The palate is full-bodied and oily, with toffee, malt sugar, vanilla, dried fruit, nuts and a little oak spice. The finish is long and warming, with sweet malt, oak and a hint of dried fruit.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
