This is a 14 year old Blair Athol finished in a second-fill Sauternes cask, bottled at 54.8% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is the fifth bottling in The Caskhound's Crazy Coos Reloaded series, released in 2025, and is limited to 259 bottles. It is bottled at cask strength, without colouring and non-chill-filtered.
The nose opens with fresh white wine and gentle acidity, then grassy, floral notes, rose petals, lemon cream, herbal honey and limoncello. The palate is soft and oily, with ripe mirabelle, nutmeg, dried apricot, mango, marzipan and black pepper. The finish is long and warming, with dark chocolate and apricot.
