A 20 year old Highland single malt from Blair Athol, distilled in 1995 and bottled in 2016 at 51.5% ABV in Douglas Laing's Old Particular range. It comes from a single sherry cask, DL10890.
It was bottled for the 20th anniversary of Uisge Beatha, a prominent whisky club in Norway, with the cask selected together with Fred Laing and Jaerens Aeveridge.
The tasting notes mention dried fruits, apple, lime and banana on the nose, and a dry palate of smoked melon, nectarine and milk chocolate. The finish is long, with pepper and mature oak.
