This is a Blair Athol single malt from the 2010 vintage, released by Best Dram.
The nose shows clear bourbon vanilla alongside delicate home-grown fruit: pear, green apple and gooseberry, with butter cake.
On the palate it is very soft yet also tart and fruity, with caramelised pear, butter cake and vanilla. The finish is medium in length and soft, with pear and cake.
