Blanton's – Gold Edition (70cl, 51.5%)

Blanton's Gold Edition is a single barrel Bourbon from Kentucky, bottled at 51.5% in a 70cl bottle. Each bottle is individually numbered and has a gold horse and rider on the cap seal. Blanton's began with the Kentucky distiller Elmer T. Lee, who in 1984 decided to bottle the world's first single barrel Bourbon. He named it after his former boss, Colonel Albert B. Blanton, who liked to entertain guests with Bourbon drawn from casks in the centre of warehouse H. Blanton's Bourbons are still selected from the "honey barrels" from the centre cut of that warehouse.
