Bomberger's Declaration Kentucky Straight Bourbon 2025 Release (70cl, 54%)

Bomberger's Declaration is a Kentucky straight bourbon from Michter's Legacy Series, a limited edition that pays tribute to the historic Bomberger's Distillery. This 2025 release is a small-batch bourbon bottled at 54% (108 proof) in a 70cl bottle. It continues Bomberger's use of Chinquapin oak. For this release the barrels were made from wood seasoned naturally for between 18 months and five years, then toasted and charred to Michter's specification. The nose shows bright fruit, roasted nuts and salted caramel. The palate moves from floral, jammy sweetness to chocolate, berries, salted caramel and baking spice, and the long finish combines oak, spice and dark fruit.
