Boulder Port Cask American Single Malt Whiskey (70cl, 46%)

Boulder Port Cask is an American single malt whisky bottled at 46% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The whisky spent three years in freshly charred American oak, then a further nine months in ruby port casks. Wine casks have a long history in European whisky but are a newer idea in American whisky, and here the port adds deep, dark fruit to the malt. It is described as baked rhubarb, dark cherry, allspice and fruitcake, with robust flavours and a lively balance of European and American oak.
