A 12 year old Bowmore from the 1980s, in an older dumpy bottle of 75cl at 40% ABV. Suntory bought into Morrison-Bowmore in 1989, and the Morrison name on this bottle points to the decade before. The spirit was distilled by direct heat. Bowmore from before 1990 is often given the 'lavender' description.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
