Ex-white port cask #30898
This is a 25 year old single cask Bowmore, distilled in 1999 and filled into an ex-white port cask, number 30898. It was bottled in November 2024 at 42.7% abv, and 120 bottles were released, each one hand filled. The whisky matured in warehouses close to the shore of Loch Indaal and has developed a maritime, briny character. The white port cask adds soft fruit, honeyed sweetness and gentle spice, alongside balanced peat.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
