Bowmore 15 Year Old is an Islay single malt from the distillery founded in 1779, the first on the island to receive a licence. It combines coastal peat smoke with deep sherried sweetness.
The nose offers dark chocolate, raisins, dried figs and toffee, with orange peel, warming spice and a gentle maritime smokiness. On the palate come rich dried fruit, caramel and cocoa, alongside roasted nuts, oak spice and soft earthy peat. The finish is long and warming, with dark fruit, chocolate, spice and smoke.
