This is a 16 year old Bowmore single malt from the Appellations Collection, bottled at 43% ABV. Bowmore is an Islay distillery.
The whisky was matured in ex-bourbon casks and European oak sherry casks, then finished in Ruby Port casks. That Ruby Port finish is the last stage of its maturation and gives the bottling its name.
