This is a 25 year old Islay single malt from Bowmore, distilled in April 1991 and matured in a single bourbon cask. It was bottled in April 2016 at 46% ABV as part of the Montgomerie's Rare Select Single Cask Collection, with 252 bottles filled from the cask.
The nose is seaweed, smoked salt, fresh lemon and fudge. On the palate there are wood smoke, honeyed barley, coffee beans and toast. The finish is long and well seasoned with peat.
