Bowmore – 6 Year Old 1999 Feis Ìle 2006

This is a Bowmore single malt distilled in 1999 and bottled at six years old for the 2006 Feis Ìle, the Islay festival. It was matured in a marriage of three first-fill bourbon barrels. Bowmore is Islay's oldest working distillery, and this edition was made for festival visitors. Just 600 bottles were filled, each numbered and carrying the distillery's signature. It is described as coastal smoke wrapped in vanilla cream, tropical fruit and zesty citrus.
