Braeval – 26 Year Old Speyside Single Malt (70cl, 52.1%)

This is a 26 year old single malt from Braeval, a high-altitude Speyside distillery. It is bottled at cask strength, 52.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The long maturation is the focus here, and the whisky is described as balancing orchard fruit, honey and oak. On the palate there is ripe orchard fruit, honey and vanilla, with gentle oak spice and a polished depth. The finish is long, warming and elegant.
