Captain Burnside is a 13 year old blended malt from the independent bottler Brave New Spirits, released for the German market as part of its comic-inspired Whisky Heroes series. It is a Balvenie with a very small addition from another distillery. The whisky matured in a first fill Oloroso sherry barrique and was bottled at cask strength, 57.9% ABV, without added colour or chill filtration. The release is 301 bottles.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
