This is an eight-year-old Inchgower from the Cask Masters range by Brave New Spirits, a coastal Speyside single malt bottled at 57.1% in a 70cl bottle.
It was matured and finished in a first-fill Château Talbot Bordeaux barrique, and bottled without chill-filtration. The outturn was 316 bottles.
The nose brings extra virgin olive oil and black treacle. On the palate come toasted walnut, redcurrant jam and clove, leading to a long, savoury finish.
