Craigellachie 9 Year Old is a Speyside single malt from Brave New Spirits, released in its Cask Masters collection. It was distilled in 2015 and finished in a first-fill red wine barrique from Château Larose-Trintaudon, then bottled at 48.1% ABV. Only 330 bottles were released worldwide.
The palate is creamy, with red fruit compote, candied cherries, stewed plums, oak spice and a fruity sweetness. The finish is long, and the fruit keeps developing.
