Breath of Speyside 2009 15 Year Old Adelphi Oloroso Cask (70cl, 58.1%)

A 15 year old Speyside single malt bottled by Adelphi under the Breath of Speyside name. It was distilled in 2009 and matured in a refill Oloroso sherry cask, then bottled at natural cask strength, 58.1% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. The refill cask keeps the wood influence measured, so distillate and cask both come through. Raisin, mocha and dried fruit sit alongside toasted oak and warming spice, and the finish turns gently dry and refined.
