Breckenridge Gin (75cl, 45%)

Breckenridge Gin is made by Breckenridge Distillery in the Colorado Rockies, using fresh snowmelt water and a base spirit of 100% neutral grain spirit distilled from grain. It is built from eleven botanicals through a dual process of maceration and gin basket distillation in a custom Vendome copper pot still, with coriander playing a major role alongside orange and lemon. The juniper is chosen for vibrancy and berry juiciness. The gin has received independent awards including World's Best Compound Gin at the 2021 World Gin Awards and Double Gold at the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition. On the nose there are lovely juniper notes, hints of traditional gin spice and developing citrus. The palate is more contemporary and botanically complex, with coriander and a hint of cardamom, lemon zest, creamy floral spice, black pepper and hibiscus.
