Brora 30 Year Old First Release is a Highland single malt from Diageo's Special Releases of 2002, bottled by the distillery at 52.4% in a 70cl bottle. It followed the Rare Malts editions, whose Brora 1972 vintages won many admirers among malt drinkers, and its casks are believed to be from 1972. The cask strength is relatively low for the style, which leaves room for a complex palate without losing power or intensity. The palate is described as waxy and oily, balanced by citrus fruit, peppery spice, smoke and oak.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
