Buchanan's Pineapple (75cl, 35%)

Buchanan's Pineapple is a flavoured blended Scotch whisky bottled at 35% in a 750ml bottle. It is made with pineapple juice from fruit grown in Latin America, together with citrus and other natural flavours. The base blend is aged for a minimum of eight years in oak, with Dalwhinnie single malt as a key component, and the pineapple is added after that. Ripe pineapple leads the nose, with citrus zest, a little honeyed sweetness and faint vanilla and caramel. On the palate, pineapple and citrus sit over soft caramel and vanilla. The finish is medium in length, with tropical fruit lingering into a clean, lightly sweet close.
