Buffalo Trace 90 Proof is a Kentucky bourbon from the Buffalo Trace Distillery, bottled at 45% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It is a dark golden bourbon with a soft side and a wide range of aromas, and it is well regarded among bartenders for cocktails such as the Whisky Sour and the Old Fashioned.
On the nose it offers honey, vanilla, oak and toffee, with a hint of coriander. The palate is notably spicy and full-bodied, with leather, tobacco and overripe orange, along with a pleasantly smoky note that is not often found in bourbon.
