Buffalo Trace is a Kentucky straight bourbon, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. Its history is traced back to 1771, before Kentucky became a state. It is a deep amber colour and can also be used in a Mojito.
The nose is complex, with vanilla, mint and molasses. The palate is pleasantly sweet, with brown sugar and spice giving way to oak, toffee, dark fruit and anise. The finish is long and smooth.
