Buffalo Trace is a Kentucky bourbon made at the Buffalo Trace Distillery in Frankfort, where bourbon has been made for more than 200 years. It is matured for roughly eight to ten years, which gives it a deep amber colour.
Vanilla, mint and molasses come through on the nose. The palate brings coffee, black cherry jam, citrus and dark chocolate.
