This is a 10-year-old Bulleit bourbon at 45.6% ABV, in a 750ml bottle. It has spent a decade in oak and has a light golden colour.
The mash bill is 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% malted barley, which gives a balance of creaminess and spice.
The nose is toasty and oaky with creamy vanilla, with cinnamon spice also noted. The palate brings dried fruits, especially apricot, and more vanilla in a spicy form. The finish is long, rich and dry, with a whisper of smoke.
