Bulleit Bourbon Barrel Strength Batch 7 Kentucky Straight Bourbon (75cl, 60.1%)

Bulleit Bourbon Barrel Strength Batch 7 is a Kentucky straight bourbon made from Bulleit's high rye recipe, bottled uncut and non-chill-filtered with no water added. Released in 2022, it is bottled at 60.1% (120.2 proof) in a 750ml bottle. The barrels, typically five to eight years old, were emptied and combined into a single batch. The mashbill is reported as 68% corn, 28% rye and 4% malted barley. Batch 7 wears the updated label first introduced with Batch 6, with Barrel Strength printed in bold orange. On the nose there is gentle spice and sweet oak, with butterscotch, honey, vanilla and cinnamon. The palate is smooth and full bodied, with maple, nutmeg and toasted oak over caramel, toffee and peppery rye. The finish is long, dry and satiny.
