Bulleit Bourbon Frontier Whiskey is a Kentucky bourbon bottled at 45% in a 70cl bottle.
It is made from rye, corn and malted barley, with Kentucky limestone water. The rye content is 28%, which is high for a bourbon and gives the whiskey its spicy, intense character. The colour is dark gold.
On the nose there are spicy oak notes, sweet caramel and vanilla. The palate is very intense and spicy, with vanilla and a little pepper, followed by a long, dry and spicy finish.
