Bulleit Bourbon Frontier Whiskey (37.5cl, 45%)

Bulleit Bourbon Frontier Whiskey is a Kentucky straight bourbon in a 37.5cl bottle, bottled at 45% (90 proof). It is inspired by the whiskey pioneered by Augustus Bulleit over 150 years ago. The recipe uses a higher proportion of rye than most bourbons, along with proprietary yeast strains and single storey warehouses. It won a Gold medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition in 2012. The nose is bright with orange zest, toasted oak and vanilla. On the palate, more orange comes with warming winter spices and a hint of tobacco leaf, and the finish is smooth and spicy.
