This is Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old, an Islay single malt in a one litre bottle at 43% ABV. It was made for the travel retail market and dates from the 1990s.
Bunnahabhain stands on Islay's north east coast and was founded in 1881. Its large stills, with low fill levels, help to make a light style of malt. The distillery has traditionally matured its spirit in ex-sherry casks, and a spicy ginger note is regarded as a marker of the Bunnahabhain character.
