Bunnahabhain – 12 Years Cask Strength (2025 Edition) (70cl, 56.4%)

Bunnahabhain 12 Years Cask Strength is a limited edition of the distillery's well-loved 12 year old, bottled at 56.4%. It was inspired by visitor tastings in Warehouse 9 at the distillery, where guests have long enjoyed whisky drawn straight from the cask. This is the fourth release, and the distillery plans a new version each year. The nose is floral and nutty, with marzipan, hazelnut, almond cream and morello cherries. Roasted nuts and spices lead the palate, with cinnamon and cloves fading to butterscotch, toffee, raisins and a soft note of coffee. The finish is long, with cloves, hazelnut and cocoa.
