This is Bunnahabhain Stiuireadair, an Islay single malt bottled at 46.3% in a 70cl bottle. The name is pronounced "stew-rahdur".
It matured in first-fill sherry casks, which bring out the fruit in the whisky.
The nose has brine, burnt sugar and raisins drizzled with caramel. On the palate come honey-roasted nuts, cinnamon and clove, with a hint of salty sea. The finish carries sherried peel and chilli pepper.
