Bunnahabhain Stiùireadair is an unpeated Islay single malt matured in a mix of first and second-fill sherry casks. The name means 'helmsman' in Scots Gaelic, a nod to the distillery's maritime heritage on the north-eastern coast of Islay. It is bottled at 46.3% ABV, with natural colour and no chill filtration.
Dried fruit, creamy caramel and sweet vanilla lead the nose, with hints of brine and nuts. The palate is smooth and creamy, with sea salt, dried fruit, nuts and gentle spice. The finish is long, balancing rich sherry sweetness with coastal freshness.
