Bunnahabhain – Toiteach A Dha (70cl, 46.3%)

Bunnahabhain Toiteach A Dha is a peated Islay single malt, bottled at 46.3% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The name is Gaelic for "Smoky Two", and it follows the earlier Bunnahabhain Toiteach. Compared with that first release, it puts a more forward core of sherried spice alongside the smoke. On the nose it is typically described as roasted peanuts, cinnamon, red chilli flakes, blackcurrant and Port. The palate brings sea salt, kippers, dark chocolate, sultanas and a touch of cantaloupe, and the finish is barley, dry smoke and pepper.
