This Macallan was distilled in 1989 and matured for 33 years. It is the first release in The World is on Fire Series from Burnobennie, bottled at 43% ABV and yielding only 200 bottles. The series marks the opening of the Burnobennie distillery and is a collaboration with Scottish figurative artist Peter Howson, whose label artwork highlights the damage humans are doing to the planet. The project supports River Dee Trust's One Million Trees project. This is bottle 99 of 200, and its numbered artwork is signed by the artist.
