A 10 year old Bushmills malt whiskey from the 1980s, in a one-litre bottle. It is gold in colour.
The nose is very expressive, opening with bananas and rum, then very ripe strawberries, kirsch, mirabelle plums and eau-de-vie. The palate is creamy and almost thick, with apricot pie, honey, a range of fruit jams, a little white pepper and hints of clove, plus ripe banana.
The finish is medium to long, with strawberry jam and a good deal of cinnamon.
