Bushmills – 10 Year Old Single Malt (70cl)

This is a 10 year old Irish single malt from Bushmills, a distillery with four centuries of experience. The whiskey is triple distilled and matured first in bourbon casks and then in Oloroso sherry casks. It is described as one of the softest and sweetest malt whiskeys, and it has none of the peaty smokiness of Scotch malts. The nose combines honeyed, vanilla chocolate with roasted wood. On the palate there are ripe fruits and a crunch of chocolate, followed by a silky finish.
