Bushmills Black Bush 80/20 PX Sherry Cask Reserve is an Irish blended whiskey from the Old Bushmills Distillery, bottled at 40% ABV in a 1 litre bottle. The blend is 80% whiskey matured in sherry casks, some of it given an extra Pedro Ximenez finish, and 20% selected grain whiskey.
It is shimmering gold in colour. The nose is fruity and sweet, with sherry mingling with fruit cake and toasted nuts. On the palate there are rich fruit notes and intense sherry, with ripe peaches, allspice and fruit cake. The finish is long and gentle.
