Cabernet Franc DOP Colli Orientali - Di Gaspero

Cabernet Franc DOP Colli Orientali from Di Gaspero is a red wine from marl and sandstone soils, trained on Guyot and harvested in the first decade of October. After destemming with whole berries, the must is pumped over for eight to ten days before pressing and further ageing in cask. It is ruby red tending to violet, with an intense, distinctly herbaceous and vinous aroma. The palate is full and tannic, matching red meats, roasts, feathered game and cheeses.
