This Cabernet Sauvignon DOC from Montepirolo, produced by San Patrignano in the Colli di Rimini, has a ruby colour with violet reflections. The nose shows ripe black fruit such as currant and plum, with light herbaceous notes and delicate spices. The palate is savoury and fresh, with present but balanced tannins and a linear structure. The finish is of medium persistence, leaving clean fruit and a light almond note. It suits grilled red meats, rustic ragu and medium-aged cheeses.
