Cabernet Sauvignon Friuli DOC Ca Modeano

A Cabernet Sauvignon from Ca Modeano, combining the Bordeaux variety with the terroir of Friuli Venezia Giulia. Grown on mineral-rich, well-drained soils, it shows intensity and structure from a temperate climate that allows slow, balanced ripening. Ageing in oak barrels brings mature red fruits such as cherry and currant, with delicate spicy and balsamic notes. On the palate it is full-bodied, with soft, well-integrated tannins. It suits red meats, roasts and aged cheeses.
