Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso Friuli DOC

A red wine from Ca Modeano, made from Refosco dal Peduncolo Rosso in Friuli. It has an intense ruby red colour, with aromas of ripe black fruits, dark cherries, light spice and earth. On the palate it is balanced, with well-defined but soft tannins and pleasant freshness, leaving a persistent, clean finish. Ageing is generally in steel or partly in wood, preserving varietal character and territorial identity. It pairs with red meat, roasts and aged cheeses.
