Cadenhead Auchentoshan 11 Years Old Original Collection (46%)

This is an 11 year old Lowland single malt from Auchentoshan, bottled by WM Cadenhead in its Original Collection at 46% ABV. Auchentoshan is known for triple distillation, which is rare in Scotland. The whisky is bottled without added colour and without chill filtration, and its gold colour is natural. The nose is citrus, vanilla and light floral notes, with soft spice, a hint of fresh malt and a subtle nuttiness. On the palate there is ripe pear, apple and lemon zest with cinnamon and a little pepper. The finish is medium, fresh and lightly spiced, with citrus and a touch of honey.
