This is a ten-year-old Knockdhu single malt from Cadenhead's Original Collection, distilled in 2013 and bottled in January 2024 at 46%.
It is an equal vatting of two parts: whisky matured entirely in bourbon casks, and whisky that has been finished in Fino sherry casks since 2020. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
The nose is sweet and fruity, with orange, marzipan, pineapple, gingerbread and brown sugar. On the palate come dates, syrup cake, honey and cola cubes. The finish brings pancake, maple syrup, milk chocolate and blackberry jam.
