This is a 24 year old Linkwood single malt from Cadenhead's Small Batch range. It was distilled in 1992 and matured in two bourbon hogsheads. It was bottled in 2017 at 50.9% ABV, without added colour or chill-filtering, and 384 bottles were filled.
The nose brings mint leaves, sawdust, aniseed liqueur and the cellar notes of a traditional dunnage warehouse. On the palate there is coconut, toffee, cask bung and dunnage floor. The finish returns to the nose, fresher now, with lemon zest.
